Nobel Laureate Visits, Oct. 3, 2005

SOCORRO, N.M., Oct. 3, 2005 – Nobel Laureate F. Sherwood Rowland of the University of California at Irvine recently paid a daylong visit to the New Mexico Tech campus, first attending a luncheon held in his honor with various Tech faculty and administrators. Rowland, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1995 for his collective research work in atmospheric chemistry, also later gave a public lecture on global warming on the day of his visit to Tech.
