Mark Reynolds Receives CHECS Award, Nov. 9, 1999

Congratulations to Mark Reynolds, Telecommunications Manager at ISD (Information Systems Dept.) At the recent CHECS Conference (Council for Higher Education Computing Services) in Las Cruces, Mark won the award for best presentation. His talk, "Designing an Infrastructure for a Campus Environment," received the highest rating of all the presentations at the conference. Mark's name, along with his affiliation with New Mexico Tech, will be immortalized on the traveling plaque. Mark gets to keep the plaque and show it off until next year's conference. This is the second time that NMT has won the award.

In addition to winning the award for best presentation, Mark also received recognition for the longest drive in the CHECS golf scramble put on by PDS (Professional Document Systems) at the Picacho Country Club.
