Class of 1960 Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship fund, established by the class of 1960, at their 50th class reunion, will recognize New Mexico Tech students whose love for life and dreams for the future bring credit to themselves and to New Mexico Tech.

The Class of 1960 Endowed Scholarship will provide a scholarship annually to a New Mexico Tech student. Eligible for consideration are those undergraduate students who have completed at least 24 credit hours in residence at Tech, have a 2.5 cumulative grade-point average, who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in any areas of study that were offered as a degree in 1960. This will include undergraduate degrees in Physics, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Mineral Resources, Mathematics, and Petroleum Engineering.

Each year, in April, the awardee will be selected by the Director of Financial Aid based on the above criteria. The award will be given at May graduation. This scholarship is not renewable; however, previous or current recipients are eligible to re-apply for an additional award.
